Abstract
Pulmonary involvement of tuberculosis is widely known; however, the occurrence of other manifestations is possible, especially with the co-existence of immunosuppression. Erythema induratum of Bazin is a cutaneous manifestation of tuberculosis that frequently occurs in women, as chronic indurated and erythematous nodules in legs. This type of cutaneous tuberculosis is caused by a hypersensitivity reaction to Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Here we present the case of a woman with active systemic lupus erythematosus treated by immunosuppressors who developed an erythema induratum of Bazin.
